What is NIIT?
The full name of NIIT is the National Institute of Information Technology. NIIT is a Global Education Oriented Company. Which focuses on computer knowledge and information technology.
It is a multinational company. Its headquarter is in Gurgaon. NIIT is mainly famous for IT Training. Although it also provides IT Solutions for Enterprises.
It is one of the top Computer Education Providers in India. NIIT also offers IT Certification Courses like Java Certification, .NET Certification, CCNA Certification, etc.
History of NIIT
NIIT was established in 1981 by two IITNs named Rajendra S Pawar and Vijay K Thadani. In 2004 the company was reorganized into two groups.
NIIT Limited – It focuses on training and education. It provides corporate training, vocational training, and educational training in the service sector and schools. It owns 23.98% of NIIT Technologies.
NIIT Technologies – Its primary focus is on providing IT solutions to enterprises.
NIIT University MBA Entrance Exam Eligibility
Candidates for NIIT must have passed 10th class or its equivalent examination with 60% marks or above in English, Maths, Science and Social studies subjects and compulsorily fifth subject in India or its equivalent. Should be preferred as a recognized board.
Applicants must have passed the 12th class with 60% marks in five subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, and English, and the fifth one may be on the basis of a recognized Board in India on choice.
Students should have qualified JEE Main, BITSAT, SAT, NEET any other state engineering entrance exam. Aspiring candidates should have secured Grade 4 or above in IB Board or minimum Grade C in Cambridge IGCSE Board.
